Myrick Marine was contracted by Bloody Point on Daufuskie Island, South Carolina to build a structure to stop erosion and to aid in rebuilding the beach on the ocean side of the island. We built the rock structure designed by Erickson Consulting Engineers from Sarasota Florida. Due to the location of this job, all of the Armor Stone size rock had to be transported by barge and then trucked across the island, in order to be installed on the ocean side of this beautiful barrier island.
