Myrick Marine was asked by the City of Savannah to salvage a boom truck from a dock that had collapsed beneath it. We had to react quickly as this was an emergency situation. If the truck was not retrieved before the tide came in, its fuel and oil could have created an environmental hazard. We transported our American 999C Crane to the site immediately, removed the truck, and kept the waterways clean from pollutants. The boom truck’s crane was recycled for its steel, and the environment was not harmed in any way.
